1. How large should the image I want changed be?
   The minimum dimensions for files sent to Face Warper are 1280 x 1024. A larger size is always better, as it gives us more to work with.
2. What file format should I send my picture in?
   JPG files will give you the best quality for the smallest file size. Most digital cameras use JPG format, so it shouldn’t be a problem. We will also accept Targa (.TGA), Tiff (.TIF), PNG (.PNG) and Photoshop (.PSD) files. The maximum file size we accept for images is 6MB.
3. How long will the warping take?
   The average Face Warper package is complete in 1-3 weeks, depending on the package you order. You will receive an email notifying you when your order is complete.
4. How do I get the final warped image?
   You can choose one of the three options we currently offer for orders:
   1. We will email the final image to you. Final images are usually 1MB-2MB in size, and you must have enough space in your inbox to have the image delivered.
   2. We will upload our image to our server and send you a link to download the image. The image will remain on our sever for one month, and you may access it at any time during this period. After one month the image will be deleted.
   3. For an extra charge of $8 US for 4x6, or $12 for 5x7, we can print your image and mail it to the address you provide during the ordering process. Face Warper is not responsible for images that are lost or stolen while in the mail.
5. What does the package price include?
   Packages include free upload of your image to Face Warper, changes made to your image to fit with the package you order and following any instructions you provide, and the final altered image sent to you. Each package includes 1 final image. You will receive an email from Face Warper when we receive your image, and another email when your order is complete.
6. How do I pay for my order?
   Face Warper currently accepts Visa, MasterCard, certified checks and money orders. We will start work on your order once payment has been received and approved.
7. What about taxes or shipping & handling?
   Face Warper charges taxes in Canada only. We do not charge taxes in the United States. Shipping & handling does not apply unless you choose to have a print of your image sent to you. If you choose this option, shipping & handling is included in the extra charge.
8. Can I send you more than one picture and you choose the best one?
   Sure. You may send a maximum of 2 images to Face Warper for each package ordered. We will choose the image we feel will provide the best results. If you order the same package for two different photos, you may upload a maximum of 4 images.
9. Can I send you a photo by mail?
   No. All images must be sent to Face Warper in digital format. If you have an old photo you would like us to change, take the print to your local photo developer and ask them to scan it for you, at a minimum size of 1280 x 1024. You can then send us the scan and keep your original print.
10. How do I tell you what I want done?
    If you have special instructions (you want blue hair, for example), make sure you explain what you would like done in the “Instructions” box when you submit your order. If you don’t give us directions, our artists will warp your image to fit your package, but you may not get the exact results you were hoping for.
11. What can you do with my image?
    The changes we can make to an image are quite vast, but there are limitations. The better the image is to start with, the better it will end up. It is difficult to crop out trees and frizzy hair, which can make the results unpredictable. Contact us to ask if the changes you want are possible.
    Face Warper will not change your image to include adult content, war footage, gore, abuse/torture or other violence. This service is provided to improve images and/or to provide a laugh, and all images will be modified in good taste.
12. Can I send you a picture of a celebrity, or a copyrighted image?
    No. Face Warper will not change celebrity photos. All images sent to Face Warper must belong to the person ordering the changes, or the person ordering must have permission from the photograph’s owner to have the image altered.
13. Can I send you the background I want used for the World Traveler Package?
    Yes. We have a set of standard backgrounds you can choose from, or you can send us the background you would like us to use. Our standard image requirements also apply to the background image: it must have minimum dimensions of 1280 x 1024, and be in Targa (.TGA), Tiff (.TIF), PNG (.PNG) or Photoshop (.PSD) format. Please make sure the image name indicates that it is a background photo (i.e. JohnSmithBackground.jpg).
14. How can I get a great photo?
    Make sure you have good lighting and that the photo isn’t blurry. Take a picture when your subject isn’t moving. Also make sure there are no obstructions or strange shadows in front of your face.
    Our best tip: take lots of photos. Get ten or twenty photos, then choose the best one. The more you have to choose from, the happier you will be with the final product.
15. I'm not happy with my changed photo. What can I do?
    If you sent us very clear instructions and we did not follow them, contact us about your order. Without clear instructions, we cannot guarantee that you will be happy with your final image. Our artists change photos we get to fit the package ordered.
16. Do you offer other products, such as cards or bookmarks with altered images on them?
    At this point, Face Warper only provides our services to change images. You may ask for your image to be printed and sent to you on photo paper, but other products are not available. You may take your changed image to a store that provides other printing services when you have received it from Face Warper.
